Soladé E. Rowe
Soladé is a seasoned talent acquisition and organizational development professional, currently serves as WB&B’s President and the firm’s Life Sciences and Industrial Practice Leader. His career has spanned several industries including higher education, pharmaceutical, banking, management consulting and retail.
Soladé developed his Human Resources expertise within the banking, management consulting, pharmaceutical and retail industries, where diversity/inclusion and talent management were a focal point throughout each of his areas of responsibility. In his last corporate position, Soladé led the talent management function for Macy’s Inc., Operations division where he played key role during the integration with May & Co. He also led the performance management and succession planning process for over a thousand employees at the middle management and senior levels. While at Pfizer Inc., he served as the company’s Head of University Relations & Diversity Recruitment and was relationship manager with numerous diversity professional organizations. He also served on the Consortium of Graduate Studies in Management’s advisory board.
A first generation American of Sierra Leonean descent, Soladé holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Management from Utica College of Syracuse University, and a Master’s in Organizational Management from the New School for Social Research in New York City. He has served as Trustee of Utica College’s board for 13 years and is currently Chair of the Student Life and Educational Experiences committees. Solade was the College’s first young alumni trustee, and delivered the Convocation address entitled “Many Cultures – One Community” in 2011. During the 2015/2016 academic year, Solade played a leadership role on the committee for Utica College’s Presidential search. He is also a proud member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc., a historically African-American community service organization.
